Things to think about when you’re trying to find a therapist to suit you!

  1. Would you like to see a therapist who specialises in the issue you need help with

  2. Do you want to see someone in your local area, near work or elsewhere?

  3. Would you like to meet online or in person?

  4. Would you prefer to see a man or woman?

  5. Do you feel comfortable with the way the therapist describes themselves and their work and how they might be able to help?

  6. Are you looking for therapy as an individual, or in a couple, a group, or family?

  7. Are you looking for therapy for yourself as an adult, or on behalf of an other?

Tip: It's okay to try out a few therapist to see who you feel most at ease with, therapist don't take this personally.
