Leona, A Warm, Compassionate and Grounded Approach to Therapy
Seeking support can often feel overwhelming, especially when you are already carrying anxiety, stress, emotional pain, relationship difficulties, or uncertainty about where to begin. My role is to offer a calm, confidential space where you can slow down, feel heard without judgment, and begin to understand yourself more deeply.
I work with adults, couples, adolescents, and families, both in person in Tullamore and online across Ireland.
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's needs. I recognise that no two people experience life in the same way, and therapy should reflect that.
My work incorporates:
-
Integrative psychotherapy
-
Attachment-based understanding
-
Relational therapy
-
CBT-informed strategies
-
Mindfulness and emotional regulation
-
Nervous system awareness
-
Trauma-informed care
I support clients experiencing:
-
Anxiety and stress
-
Emotional overwhelm
-
Trauma and unresolved experiences
-
Relationship and family difficulties
-
Low self-worth and confidence
-
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
-
Life transitions and identity challenges
-
Adolescent emotional wellbeing
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through safety, connection, understanding, and self-awareness.
Therapy is not about “fixing” you. It is about creating space to understand your experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, build healthier patterns, and reconnect with yourself and others more meaningfully.
